Impressive 2019 Results Inspire Greater Goals for 2020



Aaron Krawitz earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, graduating with honors in 2007. He went into private practice, serving approximately six years as a real estate associate in the New York City headquarters of the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, LLP, then joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as real estate counsel in 2014. Five years later, Aaron Krawitz moved to Dwight Capital LLC, where he currently serves as president.

Established in 2013, the mortgage banking firm Dwight Capital provides financing throughout the United States for commercial ventures, such as multifamily residences and healthcare properties. The firm offers financing both for existing properties and new construction across a range of platforms, including mezzanine and bridge financing as well as HUD loans.

Dwight Capital’s 2019 results of more than $1.2 billion in financings earned it a spot among the top five HUD/FHA lenders for the fifth consecutive year. The year was marked by the creation of a newly structured vehicle, Dwight Mortgage Trust, a privately traded real estate investment trust (REIT)..
